Strogg invasion coming??
The focus during the last Xbox Delevopers Direct was on Hellblade 2 and Machinegames upcoming Indiana Jones game. But it seems to have fluttered past one more subtle revelation in the broadcast.
On one of the whiteboards in the background you can see the letters AKE 6 together with the Quake logo. Are we about to get a sequel to the popular FPS series?
This is of course not direct proof that Quake 6 is under development, as it may well be from a brain storming meeting. But it’s a bit exciting anyway.
In that case, another question is also where Quake 5 disappeared?
Quake however, actually has two series. Where the odd numbers have been more multiplayer-oriented games, while the even numbers have been single-player with humans fighting against the Strogg. So it could very well be that they are working on a new chapter in the Strogg saga and that would explain the 6th.
All this is just speculation though, but what do you think?
