The latest news is about the USB-C cable that will be included in the sales package for the entire iPhone 15 series.
Earlier this week, a popular leaker with the Twitter account Mjin Bu shared a photo of what the iPhone 15’s USB-C to USB-C cable looks like.
Unfortunately, Mjin Bu could not confirm and find the source of the photo because it was circulating on social media in China.
Even so, from the photos circulating there are five color choices for the USB-C cable allegedly for the iPhone 15, namely violet, baby-blue, pink, yellow and black.
Some time later, another leaker by the name of Kosutami also shared information about this iPhone 15 USB-C cable.
Reported by Macrumors, Wednesday (23/8/2023), Kosutami claims to have seen a sample design validation test (DVT) of the USB-C cable for the successor to the iPhone 14.
They explained that the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will also use the same USB-C cable and have color options according to the colors of the two iPhone models later.
Apart from the black cable, all iPhone 15 USB-C cables have white ends with finishing glossy.
Different from Apple’s previous cables, this time the cable for the iPhone 15 series has a braided design.
This means the new cable will be thicker, tangle-resistant, and less prone to breaking, like current iPhone charging cables.
