World of Warcraft is without a doubt one of the most popular and successful video games of the last decade and possibly Blizzard’s most valuable product. The title has always been characterized by being exclusive to PC, however, this could change since rumors indicate that in December it would be available for consoles.
World of Warcraft coming to consoles on December 9
These rumors have arisen thanks to leaks of the source code of the section of next games that Xbox has. If the information is correct, World of Warcraft would make its premiere on consoles on December 9, the day that The Games Awards is held, so an announcement may be made and it will be available for sale that same day.
With its latest expansion, called World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, there were already rumors about the release of the game on consoles. However, these were denied by mentioning that everything that had been found in the game regarding joystick commands was simply experimental. After a while, this apparently ended up not being the case.
This premiere on consoles would help the game to revitalize after a decline thanks to all the controversy that Blizzard had for cases of harassment and labor exploitation. However, everything will be left to the World of Warcraft fans.
