For the 2024 racing season, VR46 Racing is currently negotiating with several parties. Apart from Pertamina, eBay is also reported to have approached the Ducati satellite team.
Party Pertamina admits that there is currently an exploratory stage of cooperation with VR46 Racing. This season, Pertamina has become the sponsor of the Mandalika SAG Team in Moto2.
Regarding the potential for collaboration with the VR46 Racing Team, Rifqi Prasetyo, as Corporate Secretary of PT Pertamina Lubricants, gave an explanation.
“Currently, Pertamina Lubricants continues to develop potential partnerships with various local and international brands looking for partners who can strengthen their position in the domestic and overseas markets,” said Rifqi when contacted by detikSport.
“Opportunity Pertamina Lubricants to collaborate with global brands is very open considering that oil products made for consumers are adjusted to the highest standards and from a quality aspect are in the same position as world-class brands, including one that can be in a MotoGP-class racing event.”
“Many partners are interested because Pertamina Lubricants products are known for their quality,” he added.
