It’s been many years since has spoken of remasters of some of Rockstar Games’ games, mainly Red Dead Redemption.
Unofficial information now emerges that Grand Theft Auto IV was also on the list of plans to receive a remaster, along with the eternal Red Dead Redemption remaster.
This news is advanced by an insider, thank you wccftechstating that Rockstar has put the intentions to remaster both Grand Theft Auto IV and Red Dead Redemption on the shelf, due to the poor reception of Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition.
“According to a reliable source and with evident accuracy about Rockstar’s plans, a few years ago remasters of GTA IV & RDR1 were on the table, but Rockstar chose not to proceed with the projects in mind.
The poor reception of the DE Trilogy (Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition) could be a reason behind this decision.”
