I usually find the comments on foldable phones rather negative. Furthermore, most of these people have never seriously looked at such a device.
The fact that foldable phones aren’t that popular yet also has to do with the price. They are simply very expensive devices that don’t quite belong to the absolute top in terms of specifications. Although the screen is increasingly resistant to scratches, this is still a weak point. Furthermore, in Europe the choice is still very limited. Motorola doesn’t provide decently long support yet. Two years is very limited for such an expensive device.
In first-class phones, Apple is actually still the lord and master. Switching to a foldable phone also means switching to Android. Many people prefer to stick to an iPhone.
Despite all the comments, I see more and more foldable phones in nature. News is always well received and here on Tweakers we almost always talk about possible disadvantages.
In any case, this Oppo is a new model that combines compactness and at the same time a large screen. Due to its size, it feels more manageable than Samsung’s Fold. I would be happy if this phone arrives in Europe. Preferably with a price just below the Fold Z 4.
