It is now clear that an eighth episode of the saga resident Evil is under development at Capcom, but at the moment, the studio hasn’t confirmed anything and we have to settle for corridor noises, with information that may no longer be current internally. Anyway, AestheticGamer is still as well informed and shares some interesting details this week.

According to this insider, Resident Evil 8 would be the “darkest and most macabre” episode of the license, and it warns players: “Expect the most disturbing enemies” from the Serie. AestheticGamer had recently mentioned the presence in Resident Evil 8 occultism, hallucinations and mental madness, all this obviously intrigues fans of the saga of Capcom, but raise the eyebrows of fans of another competing license (but a little forgotten in recent years), silent Hill.
Besides, concerning the deductible of Konami, AestheticGamer (again) had recently mentioneda new episode, or rather a reboot, developed by the famous Team Silent, for PlayStation 4 (or PS5). All this is obviously to be taken with tweezers, but if these rumors are correct, fans of survival horror are going to be spoiled !
