Halo Infinite’s multiplayer may become free-to-play. This is evident from information on the website of an Irish toy store. The multiplayer of the game would also run at 120fps on the Xbox Series X. The information has since been taken offline.

This passage has since been taken from the website, but Klobrille has taken a screenshot of it.

Furthermore, the Twitter user reports that the Arena multiplayer mode of Halo Infinite aims for a frame rate of 120fps on the Xbox Series X. This frame rate was also reported on the Smyths website. earlier Microsoft reported that Halo Infinite will run at 60fps with a 4k resolution. On de Xbox-website however, it specifically states that the game’s single player campaign is running at 60fps, so the multiplayer frame rate may be higher. The 120fps mode could also use a lower resolution.

According to Klobrille, the multiplayer of Halo Infinite will also receive a battlepass system and new customization options. The game will be released this fall, simultaneously with the Xbox Series X console. The game is also playable on the Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs.
