Now that Sony finally has PlayStation VR2 official announced, we didn’t have to wait long for the first rumors to appear. According to Nick Baker – founder of XboxEra – Half-Life: Alyx is coming to PlayStation VR2.
This would of course be very good news, as Valve’s shooter is often referred to as one of the ‘must-play’ VR titles. Baker says that Sony and Valve have already reached an agreement that Half-Life: Alyx will come to the new VR platform, but that it is still unclear when exactly this should happen.
Valve has previously been asked whether Alyx would appear for the original PlayStation VR. At the time Designer Greg Coomer said they were mainly working on the release for SteamVR, but he didn’t shut the door completely either. Nevertheless, Baker’s statements have not been confirmed and so you get a grain of salt from us.
From what I’ve been told, they have. Not sure when it’s happening though. I thought this was one of those open secrets? https://t.co/RPrdPArDLc
