Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the next release of the popular series from Ubisoft, scheduled for 2023, but still no concrete date to put in the calendar.
After recent speculation suggested it would arrive before April 2023, Ubisoft hinted it wouldn’t arrive until the next fiscal year, which starts in April 2023. Now, Insider-Gaming push forward that Assassin’s Creed Mirage will be released in August 2023, the internal prediction currently in Ubisoft’s mind.
This already known source of unofficial information says that this date is the current goal of Ubisoft, which internally has already been forced to postpone Assassin’s Creed Mirage twice. With that in mind, the company prefers not to commit to a date and will only make the announcement when it’s absolutely certain.
The site’s sources don’t say why the game was delayed twice, and they don’t share development details, only teasing that Assassin’s Creed Mirage is currently slated for an August release.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage is a smaller-scale title, which will serve to take us back to the roots of the series, while Ubisoft prepares Codename Red. This will be a game set in feudal Japan, an open world action RPG, with a similar scale to more recent efforts in the series.
