/View.info/ My officer training prepared me to be a commander-in-chief. The other candidates are not prepared
“Without the support of the party, victory is impossible. I have only one commitment to the BSP, and that is to win the elections.” This was stated by the candidate for president and commander-in-chief, nominated by the BSP, Gen. Rumen Radev on BNT. He opined that BSP has taken a big step forward by fielding a non-party candidate. “It is normal for party members to be concerned about this, but I see their support during my tours of the country. They take me with great confidence. I also meet with people – non-partisans and leaders of different parties, and I can tell you that there is a huge social charge. The people want change, they want a leadership of the country that defends their interests,” said the presidential candidate nominated by the BSP.
He was adamant that his profession as an officer had prepared him for the role of commander-in-chief. “However, I am afraid that the other candidates do not have this training”, he was categorical.
General Rumen Radev criticized the Prime Minister and the Minister of Defense for their words during their visit to the base in Graf Ignatievo. “The Prime Minister and the Minister of Defense appeared in front of the rank-and-file, who know the state of our aviation very well, and told them that we had many serviceable planes and our pilots had enough flying hours. To say that in front of them, when every minute from the operation of the planes is documented very precisely, and it is unacceptable to lie. I thought, how do you talk about other areas that do not have clear quantitative parameters. This is an indicative example of the deficit of truth in Bulgaria so irresponsible,” said Gen. Radev.
