President Rumen Radev called for more transparency in state management. He participated in the ceremony of presenting the “Golden March” awards for contribution to business in our country to the “Made in Bulgaria – Union of Small and Medium Businesses” association.
During the presentation of an award to the Dragomir wine estate, the head of state indicated:
“Recently, the most fashionable word is ‘transparency’ – transparency of management, transparency of decisions, transparency of preparation of memorandums, coalition agreements and everything around them. I can tell you that this principle of transparency has long been introduced in this winery . When I visited it, there the entire production cycle – from the entry of the grapes to the bottling and delivery to the store – is behind some huge glasses, and the entire cycle can be seen. I want to wish that this principle is really transferred to the state as well”.
The President emphasized that the state and business should cooperate:
“We see the drive of small and medium-sized businesses – with a lot of innovation, with a very high level of ambition and a lot of work – how they fly forward and at the same time the state is “dragging”, and sometimes really “reverse gear”. We we must, above all, together with you, make it so that the state and business look in the same direction, have a high level of ambition together, cooperate and be partners”.
