Rumen Radev: Our services should not leave Pandora’s boxes undiscovered

The president said ideas should be at the forefront of the campaign, not compromising

The Bulgarian services must work so that no Pandora’s boxes remain undiscovered in Bulgaria. This was said to journalists in Blagoevgrad by the head of state Rumen Radev.

He said that ideas should be at the forefront of the campaign, not compromising information. “Everyone should have the opportunity to express themselves, to present who they are, what they are fighting for and how they will fight, to appear on the stage,” the head of state explained.

When asked with whom he would be most interested in the debate in the election campaign, Radev answered:

“My debate is with the Bulgarian citizens. I have been leading it throughout my term and I have always been on their side. I am interested in the debate with all the presidential candidates, they are Bulgarian citizens.”

Regarding the fact that a second Bulgarian name from the Pandora files should be released today, Radev commented: not from abroad for our violated laws. I expect them to work so that no Pandora’s boxes remain undiscovered in Bulgaria. “

Asked about the energy crisis before the winter, the head of state said it was a global and acute problem.

“Prices are scandalous in Europe – over 300 euros per megawatt-hour, and in Bulgaria and Romania we are in the lowest price segment. This crisis will continue. What are we doing? You should have asked this question in the past 12 years. What did the previous rulers do? “to resolve this looming energy crisis in the future. I would like to congratulate the caretaker government for continuing to support business. They are already introducing measures for small and medium-sized enterprises,” Radev added.

With regard to a possible reduction in food VAT, the president said it should be maintained until the crisis subsides.
