“Let’s follow a clearly defined chronology, according to the law and the Constitution. Let’s see the publication of the list of people’s representatives by the CEC. Then I will make a decision and issue a decree on the convening. From there I have no intention of delaying. It is proper in the situation in which we are looking for clarity and, I hope, a stable, operational, regular government soon,” he added.
“Intensification, as you can see, is the speculation by certain political parties, by certain private commentators about the caretaker government.” This is how Radev answered a question about whether he is ready with the composition of a possible official cabinet.
“This clearly shows fear, concern about a possible lifting of the pink curtain on the governance of the country by this caretaker government,” the president added.
“I hope so. But I tell you again – we must strictly follow the terms of both the Constitution and the laws,” the president answered when asked if it was possible for the parliament to be convened this week.
“Let’s see if there will be a first return of Madnat, if there will be a second return of a mandate, only then will we talk about a third,” said the president regarding the order in which mandates are handed out to form a government.
