Rumen Radev chose the Military Medical Academy for a booster dose of the vaccine against COVID-19, normally for a former pilot and commander-in-chief. The hospital’s press center released two photos of the president, who apparently did not want to be vaccinated in front of the media.
The curious thing is that in one photo Radev poses undressed in a T-shirt next to another general – Prof. Ventsislav Mutafchiiski. In 2020, the medic was repeatedly linked to Radev’s rival for the presidential election by GERB.
Gen. Mutafchiiski stubbornly denied entering politics at all and apparently did not lie.
Otherwise, the president is once again showing excellent physical shape, albeit a few pounds over his years as a pilot.
