/ world today news/ On January 22, Rumen Radev and Iliana Yotova will take office for a second term as president and vice president of the Republic of Bulgaria. The ceremony will take place on the square “St. Alexander Nevsky” and will start at 11.00 am.
President Rumen Radev will accept the order of honor of the representative units of the Bulgarian Army, after which he will deliver a speech. 21 artillery salutes will mark the beginning of the second mandate of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Rumen Radev. The head of state will lay a wreath and pay his respects to those who died for the freedom of Bulgaria in front of the Monument to the Unknown Warrior.
In front of the main entrance of the Presidential Administration, a curtain of Guardsmen will welcome the Head of State and Supreme Commander-in-Chief Rumen Radev and Vice President Iliana Yotova.

Officials and ceremony guests will take their seats until 10.30 am.
IN 10.45 am in front of the Monument to the Unknown Warrior, the representative units of the Bulgarian Army will be built.
IN 10.55 am on the square “St. Alexander Nevsky” will be attended by Vice President Iliana Yotova.
IN 10.57 am on the square “St. Alexander Nevsky” President Rumen Radev will arrive. Accompanied by the commander of the National Guard unit Colonel Kancho Ivanov, the head of state will head to the right flank of the formation.
IN 11.00 hours the president will accept the report of the head of the guard, bow in front of the National Flag, walk around the formation and salute the guard of honor. After accepting the formation, Rumen Radev will go up to the stand.
From 11.02 am the head of state will deliver a speech.
IN 11.10 a.m The Guard’s representative brass band will perform the anthem of the Republic of Bulgaria. During the anthem, a 21-gun salute will mark the beginning of the second term of the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.
IN 11.13 a.m the head of state will lay a wreath and pay tribute to those who died for Bulgaria’s freedom in front of the Monument to the Unknown Warrior.
IN 11.20 am the president will mount the rostrum and receive the solemn march of the honor guard. A bell will be tolled until the guard is re-formed to pass in a solemn march.
IN 11:24 a.m President Rumen Radev and Vice President Iliana Yotova will address the officials to greet them.
