The chairman of the ABV Party Rumen Petkov raised again the topic of the fate of Evelin Banev-Brendo. The cocaine king, who was arrested on September 6 last year in Kyiv, has sentences in three countries – in Romania he was sentenced to 10 years for drug trafficking, in Italy to 20 years, and in our country – to 6 years for laundering. money.
However, Brando was released by the Court of Appeal in Kyiv, and to date his exact whereabouts are a mystery. Judge Ivan Rybak’s motive for releasing Banev was that he had meanwhile become a Ukrainian citizen and could not be extradited under local law.
Last month, Rumen Petkov announced that he would inform the European Union that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky had given Ukrainian citizenship to Banev. “Mr. Zelenski turned out to be Mr. Brando’s hideout. Is Europe ready to approve such a country as a member?” The ABV leader asked at the time.
Now he is raising the issue again, as on Wednesday Prime Minister Kiril Petkov will personally bring helmets and vests to Ukraine – aid from Bulgaria.
Here is how Rumen Petkov commented on the forthcoming visit of the Prime Minister, the visit of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba to Bulgaria, and the place of Brando in the relations between the two countries:
Inhumanity and homelessness, dressed in power. Minister Kuleba spent almost a week in Sofia. He insulted the Parliament, insulted the institutions, gave us assessments and all this time did not want to see a Ukrainian child, a Ukrainian mother and a Ukrainian family. Because Zelensky and his gang never they were not interested in the life and health of Ukrainians.
Zelenski asked for 7 billion a month, and Kuleba asked for weapons. For them, family, homeland, compatriots are empty of content concepts. For them, Ukrainians are a living shield to protect foreign interests.
The question is why the Bulgarians did not ask for guarantees for the life and health of our sailors.
Let’s think about where we are going and think about who we are defending – those who are not interested in their own people. We give them a platform to curse the Bulgarian institutions. For them, the life of Bulgarian sailors is not just worthless, but a matter of speculation.
Our institutions are silent on major Bulgarian issues.
1. The evacuation of the crew of the ship “Rozhen”. Ukraine will offer our sailors to be evacuated by land, without telephones (so that they can not film the Ukrainian atrocities), and with a declaration that all this is done at their discretion, their will and responsibility. National betrayal.
2. No one asked about the fate of the respected Ukrainian, Mr. Brando – a man who poisoned Bulgarians, and not only with drugs.
The Prime Minister and the President should go out and say – we do not care about the citizens that Mr. Brando poisoned with drugs. Or to say – we blew up, sorry.
I understand the Prime Minister – for him, Mr. Brando is an associate and possible distributor of the Minister of Culture (probably not only him). I don’t understand the president.
Bulgarians must fight mostly for Bulgaria. Of course, as we can see, we can also support those who support Mr Brando and his supporters. “
