Meanness to the citizens and the protest against the status quo, duplicity in the otherwise categorical theses of the election campaign and betrayal in the demonstration of views on possible political configurations and governance, he explained.
In front of the media in Pleven, in an analysis of the political processes in the country, after the declared will for a government with the second term of PP-DB and with a rotation of the prime minister in nine months, Rumen Petkov stated that the formation of a government with an unclear future is a problem of the whole society.
Given the stated priorities of a government with the second mandate – constitutional reform for changes in the structure of the prosecution and the Supreme Judicial Council – Petkov believes that this is a demonstration by PP-DB and GERB-SDS of interest in a non-working judicial system. This serves crime, which sees that it is not an object of justice and law enforcement, the ABV leader also commented. Among the set priorities is also to fulfill the legislative program for Schengen and the Eurozone, which shows the inability of the leading political formations to bring Bulgaria to Schengen and the Eurozone, Petkov believes. As for the announced intention to rotate the post of prime minister, Rumen Petkov predicts that this will lead to the end of the government in 9 months and will require the implementation of the entire procedure – handing over mandates, negotiations, forming a cabinet – all over again.
According to the chairman of the PP ABV, a government with the second mandate will involve Bulgaria in the war in Ukraine in the most rude and ruthless way. According to Petkov’s information, our country has made a commitment to provide one of the S-300 complexes. If so, it would be a major blow to our national security, he added.
Petkov is also adamant that our country should also insist on an objective assessment of the radiation situation in Ukraine and Poland, because according to a number of American publications, they came out with data that it has sharply deteriorated.
