“It is important for us to come to a change in the management model that has been created over the last 10 years,” he added.
According to him, an anti-GERB government means the necessary measures to guarantee fair elections, the right of Bulgarian citizens to vote freely, and changes in the judicial system.
“We have not said that we will form a coalition with “There is such a people” or that we will support the person Slavi Trifonov, we will support policies,” explained Ovcharov.
According to him, political time is not the same as calendar time, the political term may be 4 calendar years, but purely politically it may be already exhausted.
“After her convincing victory in the internal party elections, Kornelia Ninova had to do something extremely important, namely steps towards consolidation of the party,” said the MP and added that there are none.
“Almost 4 years ago, I told her: ‘Cornelia, you are not the smartest, you can’t go to war with everyone and expect to be the eternal winner, such a person was not born into the world. Your task is the consolidation of the BSP, the consolidation of the left, the consolidation of all those who want change in Bulgaria,” said Ovcharov.
According to him, if she continues in this way, her political time will end very soon.
“The BSP is not afraid of new elections, in any case they will be better for the party and will not repeat the current situation, but the creation of a government of change will be even more difficult,” added Ovcharov.
