Rui Moreira Movement says that changes to the local electoral law are “Rui Rio’s tantrum” – Actuality

The movement classified today as a “sad day” for democracy and a “bile joy” for Rui Rio.

The Mayor of Porto stressed that with this change to the law ‘Porto, Our Movement’ is prevented from running again with the name with which he won the last elections, being unable to use either the word party or the name of the candidate in the acronyms of the lists competing for the parishes.

“All of this is engendered, as is undeniable, to deceive and confuse the voter and with the forelegment of affirming in the recitals that this is what we want to avoid”, he underlined, in the note.
