Rui Barreto, president of CDS / PP-Madeira and secretary with the Economy portfolio, guarantees that the dismissal of Mário Pereira as clinical director “Do not stop the changes from happening, with another protagonist”.
In a message on his Facebook page, Rui Barreto writes the following: “In my personal name, I thank Mário Pereira for the committed and loyal way in which he sought to assume the position of Clinical Director of SESARAM. When you want to change, there is always resistance ”.
And he continues: “This time, the resistance was greater than the desire to move forward, a desire that had as its main objective to provide better health care to the citizens of Madeira. This does not prevent changes from taking place, with another protagonist. Mário was loyal and, once again, correctly interpreted his mission as a public servant. Without being attached to places, he left with dignity and, I believe, with a clear conscience. This is the right way to be in politics ”.
José Manuel Rodrigues praises Mário Pereira, but says nothing more
ALM President José Manuel Rodrigues, on the other hand, also turned to Facebook, but it does little or nothing about the case: “Thanks Mário for the attitude that only ennobles him, for the reasons we know. I want you to know that I will always be by your side wherever you are. So my conscience dictates to me and I don’t say it anymore ”.
