Ruhut Sitompul is now apologizing after being heavily blasphemed for uploading Anies Baswedan’s memes

TRIBUNNEWS.COM – Politicians PDI Perjuangan Ruhut Sitompul is in the spotlight because of his upload on social media Twitter.

On Wednesday (11/5/2022), Ruhut uploaded a meme from Governor of DKI Jakarta, Anies Baswedan who wear typical Dani clothing, Papua.

After uploading the meme, Ruhut received criticism on social media.

In fact, his name had dominated the trending topic on Twitter because of his upload.

As a result, Ruhut was reported to the Polda Metro Jaya by representatives of Papuan youths because they were deemed to have insulted Papuan identity and culture.

After learning about the report, Ruhut responded casually.

But now the former Democrat politician has apologized after the blasphemy on social media never stopped falling on him.

The apology was conveyed by Ruhut through his personal Twitter account, @ruhutsitompul, Friday (13/5/2022).

According to Ruhut, the constant blasphemy comes from people who do not understand the problem.

Nevertheless, Ruhut apologized to them because as a human he admitted that he was not free from mistakes.
