FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA – Former Democrat Party politician Ruhut Sitompul is sad to see the conflict in the party bearing the star of mercy. Especially at the time of the celebration of the two decades of political parties that once sheltered him.
This was revealed by Ruhut in response to legal issues between Democratic Chairperson Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY) and Moeldoko as the head of the Deli Serdang KLB result.
“As a senior who used to raise Democrats, even now in PDI Perjuangan, I am so sad,” Ruhut told JPNN.com, Friday (10/9) night.
Regarding the fuss over the celebration of the Democratic Anniversary which is said to have been held by the Deli Serdang KLB camp led by Moeldoko in Banten, Ruhut believes that this should not have happened.
“As long as the intention of Mr. Moeldoko’s camp is to celebrate his birthday, yes, we respect it,” said the former member of the House of Representatives Commission III from the Democratic Faction.
Previously, the AHY camp received leaks about the efforts of the Deli Serdang KLB group led by Moeldoko to hold a celebration of the Democratic Anniversary in Tangerang, Banten.
Ruhut also understands the dynamics that occur in the Democrats. Moreover, legal issues between the management of AHY and Moeldoko are still ongoing.
