Balès, Hasan and Parent back in Armandie. As before each SUA home match, three “legends” of the club attended the setup this Wednesday in Armandie. Scrum half Alexi Balès, pillar Omar Hasan and 2nd row Jean-Michel Parent then made a short speech in the locker room. They certainly did not forget to emphasize the notion of derby. The Argentinian Omar Hasan also took the opportunity to challenge the Irishman Dave Ryan before the clash this Friday evening (9:10 p.m.) between the two nations.
A new giant screen in the Lacroix stand. A little more than two years after its inauguration, the new Armandie stadium continues its transformation. Thus, a new giant screen will be put into service this Thursday for the derby. It is perched at the top and center of the Lacroix stand. Funded by a club sponsor (Maïsolia), this screen is intended in particular to display the score on match evenings. A way to anticipate the disappearance of the one on the Butte à Bébert when the fourth stand (finally) comes out of the boxes?
Days of rest depending on the result? The second block will end this Thursday evening after a series of six matches. The Agenais will only play the 12th day on November 29 (7:30 p.m.) in Béziers. In the meantime, will they benefit from a few days of rest? “Manager Sébastien Calvet will announce to the players after the match the duration of the break,” forwards coach Dave Ryan warned this Wednesday. If two or three days are already planned, could the players get a “rebate” in the event of a victory?
