David Delarue (Aurillac scrum-half):
“There is a lot of disappointment because we lead for 76 minutes. We can’t keep the score or dig it. It’s been a recurring problem since the start of the season and it’s painful. It’s not played twice this year, against Mont de Marsan and Grenoble. On the action where they score, we are 80m from our in-goal. (…) We lose balls, we miss tackles and Grenoble has some benefited. Sometimes we manage to make up for the blows but there we did not succeed. Our kicking game was effective but a match lasts 80 minutes. We were solid on many phases of the game but we missed three minutes We knew that if we won, we would come back to two points from 6th place. We are very disappointed because we see the final stages moving away. We have to do the job until the end.”

Alain Belguiral (Aurillac assistant coach):
“It’s a feeling of sadness because we believed in it. It’s hard, I’m disappointed for the guys because I feel like they gave their all. Grenoble remains very strong, with very powerful players ” We miss the boat at several times. We have to be positive, we have to keep the good things. We work a lot to try to grab this sixth place and it’s a setback. We have to congratulate Grenoble who is a very good team. We can see that we are not far from these big teams.”
Fabien Gengenbacher (manager of Grenoble):
“It’s not planned before the matches but we have this strength of character. We were able to score a superb try to win the match. We have to remain humble. Tonight we had an average match, we lacked precision. We maintain this dynamic and now the hard part begins to stay there.
