“It’s been a solid start to the tournament, but there’s still a lot of bowling left to play. I want to focus on continuing to improve every day and give my best in every ball. My goal is to finish strong and achieve a podium position. There are players executing well and I know that I am going to be pressured until the end,” said Quintanilla, who has been bowling since he was eight years old.

“I plan to focus on my game, my preparation and executing every shot. If I can do this I will be satisfied, regardless of the end result. For now I want to keep my head down and keep working,” he added.

Luis Bendeck dominated the third date with 1,309 points after the six series on Saturday and made a jump in the general classification after finishing in fourth place on the first date and sixth in the second.

In fourth position is Carlos Morales with a total of 3,746 (3,620 + 126 handicap) and in fifth place is Eduardo Fajardo with 3,740 (3,434 + 306).
