For his first with the Jazz, Rudy Gay (absent from the first 14 games following a heel operation) did not disappoint by finishing his team’s co-top scorer (20 points) with Donovan Mitchell. Utah (2nd win in a row) defeated the Raptors of Gary Trent Jr. (31 points) shooting 55% of the game, with 19 successful 3-pointers and a perfect Rudy Gobert in the paint with 14 points at 7/7, 11 rebounds and 2 blocks.

In Minneapolis it was Karl-Anthony Towns who ruled the racket with 25 points and 12 rebounds for a 25-point final victory over Spurs. D’Angelo Russell added 22 points and Malik Beasley netted 5 of the team’s 21 (season-high) 3-pointers. It is a 4th loss in a row for San Antonio, led by Devin Vassell’s 18 points. Wolves led from start to finish, dominating 47-42 on the rebound and holding their opponents 41.7% on shots and 90 points (season-low for the Texans).

Tyrese Maxey and Seth Curry combined for 22 and 20 points in the Sixers’ unexpected victory in Denver to end a 5-game losing streak. The team held Nikola Jokic (30 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists) to only 3 points in the second half, in particular thanks to the great defensive work of rookie Charles Bassey (12 points, 7 rebounds and 3 blocks). Michael Malone was ejected in the 3rd quarter.

Wolves – Spurs 115-90

Sixers – Nuggets 103-89

Jazz – Raptors 119-103
