Half an hour after yet another tweet contesting the election results, Donald Trump decided to change the subject – and announced, this Sunday night, that his lawyer Rudy Giuliani, 76, is infected with covid-19.
Giuliani – whom the president considers New York’s best mayor ever – has been the face of the war that Donald Trump opened after the November presidential elections – which were won by Democratic candidate Joe Biden.
According to The Guardian, at least 40 people in Donald Trump’s closest circle have tested positive for covid-19, including First Lady Melania Trump and several Republican deputies and politicians.
In October, just weeks from the elections, the president was admitted and spent three days in a Washington hospital recovering from Covid-19.
