Rumors of Garcia being sacked by Al Nassr surfaced. The news came shortly after Ronaldo et al were held to a goalless draw by Al Feiha in the Saudi Pro League last weekend.
Now Al Nassr is stuck in second place in the Saudi Arabia Pro League standings with 53 points. Rudi Garcia’s men are three points behind Al Ittihad.
The situation reportedly pushed Garcia into a corner. The 59-year-old coach has reportedly been given deadline by the club, namely against Al Hilal next week. If he fails to win again, Garcia will reportedly be fired.
Fate made it Rudy Garcia can be included in the list of coaches who have bad luck while training Cristiano Ronaldo. Because, many coaches were fired while training CR7.
Since moving to Juventus in 2019, many of the coaches currently handling Ronaldo have been sacked.
First there is Massimilano Allegri, who was sacked by Juventus in 2019. Then, Andrea Pirlo also experienced a similar fate in 2021, also while still coaching Ronaldo at the Bianconeri.
When Ronaldo moved to Manchester United, there was Ole Gunnar Solskjaer who was fired while coaching Ronaldo. Meanwhile, Ralf Rangnick was only contracted for six months by the Red Devils.
Furthermore, Fernando Santos was also sacked by Portugal after failing to bring Ronaldo et al to victory at the 2022 World Cup. His contract was terminated even though it still runs until 2024 or until next year’s European Cup.
