Englishman Ruark Audio has long been among the best at making good sounding radios. This is certainly not an exception. The radio, which also has built-in Bluetooth, is the fourth edition. With even better sound, it’s to be believed in Alan O’Rourke, who believes an R2 radio is the perfect companion for your morning coffee. Or the teacup for that matter.
The radio itself does not have a large footprint and fits perfectly in the kitchen, where you can listen to the radio via FM or DAB + and stream from Spotify or another streaming service, whenever you want.
It can be controlled with a remote control or from the UNDOK app which also gives you the audio settings and you can see what is playing on the color screen. The radio is delivered in a dark variant called espresso with a walnut speaker grille, or in a lighter version with an ash grille.
It also features an audio input, USB charging with playback supportng on USB and headphone output.
The R2 radio measures 34 x 18.5 x 15cm and is priced at DKK 6,490.
