Official sales of the RTX 4070 Ti are scheduled for early January, but you can already find them on sale in a Serbian shop. True, at a completely absurd price.
This model is made by Gigabyte and includes three coolers and takes up three slots. The price of the model is 172229 RSD, which together with the tax is approximately 1550 dollars. With 10% off cash purchases, it costs $1,400, well above even the MSRP for the RTX 4080.
The reason for such high prices is that there is a duopoly in the machinery market in Serbia, so greedy sellers and high import tariffs lead to a significant overestimation of the cost of the products. Right there, the RTX 4080 retails for $1,700, while the RTX 4090 can be had for no less than $2,500. So buying goods in Serbia doesn’t make much sense, especially since you can also go to neighboring EU countries and buy there at a much more reasonable price.
In addition to Serbia, the MSI GeForce RTX 4070 Ti Gaming X Trio has also been spotted at retailers in Costa Rica, but the price has not been announced and will be sold from the official launch date.
The RTX 4070 Ti is a smaller version of the RTX 4080. It features 7680 CUDA cores (9728 for the RTX 4080) and 12GB of GDDR6X (16 for the 4080).
