Anyone who has a radio or TV at home should register these devices and pay an RTV subscription. However, there is a large group of people exempt from paying the RTV subscription.

In 2021, the rates for RTV subscription went up. You have to pay more for an RTV subscription, but some are exempt from this obligation.
The fee for the RTV subscription – this is how much you have to pay in 2021
The amount of RTV subscription fees in 2021 determined by the Regulation of the National Broadcasting Council of 23 July 2020 on the amount of subscription fees for the use of radio and TV sets and discounts for paying them in advance for a period longer than one month in 2021.
- The fee for 1 month for a radio receiver is PLN 7.50 (if the subscriber pays the fee each month, then the fee for the period of 12 months will be PLN 90.00).
- The fee for 1 month for a television or television and radio set is PLN 24.50 (if the subscriber pays the fee each month, then the fee for the period of 12 months will be PLN 294.00).

Exemptions from RTV subscription fees
Poczta Polska informs that the right to use the exemptions from subscription fees may be obtained by persons included in the list of entitled persons who present at the post office:
- documents entitling to benefit from the exemption from subscription fees,
- ID card and submit a declaration of compliance with the conditions for benefiting from the exemptions from subscription fees.
The document confirming obtaining the right to benefit from the exemption from subscription fees is the original of the declaration of compliance with the conditions for benefiting from the exemptions from subscription fees, confirmed with a date stamp of the post office.
According to Poczta Polska, exemptions from subscription fees are available from the first day of the month following the month in which confirmation to use the exemption was obtained. In the case of periodic exemptions from subscription fees, failure to present documents confirming the extension of entitlements for the next period will result in the necessity to pay fees in the following months.
