According to The Independent, the leaders of PSG would be ready to offer an astronomical contract to their French striker to keep him this summer.
Kylian Mbappé’s dazzling performance in the Champions League on Tuesday night against Real Madrid reminded the world, if need be, that the 23-year-old is one of the best in the world.
This is the reason why the leaders of PSG do not want to lose their star striker who is coming to the end of his contract in June. Mbappé is rumored to have a tacit agreement with Real Madrid to join the Whites for free next summer. He would embody the new generation of the most successful team on the European scene which should inaugurate its new ultramodern stadium during this same summer of 2022.
In order to keep his jewel as long as possible and convince him to extend, the newspaper The Independant reports that the Qatari leaders would be ready to offer a salary of one million pounds (1.2 million euros) per week to the French. This contract would make the native of Bondy the highest paid player on the planet with nearly 63 million euros annually. An astronomical amount that amounts to earning 1.98 euros per second.
If ever the world champion decides to join Real Madrid (the club of his dreams) despite everything, he would not be too badly off either. Rumors have it that the Madrid leaders have promised the Frenchman an annual salary of 50 million euros if he joins them.
