Important visitors at RTC Seedorf

On August 13th, an extraordinary team event took place for the seniors 60+ team, their partners and other club members of the RTC Seedorf. In hot summer temperatures, the participants enjoyed instructive training sessions with Marco Chiudinelli.
The former tennis professional looks back on an 18-year career that was repeatedly marked by injuries. In 2014, he won the Davis Cup for Switzerland with his childhood friend Roger Federer and Stan Wawrinka.
The sporting highlight of the day saw Marco Chiudinelli compete in various games against Uri’s young hopefuls Jan Jauch and Nicola Senn. The 30 or so spectators were treated to tennis at its finest. Chiudinelli impressed not only with his playing skills, but also with his likeable personality. The event was rounded off with a cozy evening in the form of a barbecue party. This team event was not only a sporting enrichment, but also a valuable experience for all participants who were able to experience Marco Chiudinelli live.
