The football club RSV Göttingen 05 from the Geismar district of Göttingen offers two full-time positions in the federal voluntary service or for FSJler. Because of the many newcomers in the children’s and youth sector, youth trainers are also being sought – and three summer holiday camps are being organised.

For the extensive training provision in youth football, the RSV 05 has been relying on positions in the federal voluntary service for ten years. “It is always the very effective federal volunteers who leave us for the summer holidays,” reports RSV youth coordinator Ralf Tarant.

The RSV 05 is also looking for youth coaches. “We offer organizational and sports-pedagogical support as well as an expense allowance, especially for students and pupils,” emphasizes the sports educator Tarant. In addition, the RSV has developed a system for assuming the costs of the association’s C and B licenses.

In the Corona period, RSV 05 had around 175 new registrations from children and young people by 2021, according to a statement. For 2022, another 64 children and young people will be added. So far, the training work has been well managed with the two previous full-time positions in the federal voluntary service, “now the joint forces are reaching their organizational limits,” reports the RSV. Joint summer holiday camp with VfL Wolfsburg
Irrespective of this, the RSV 05 organizes three summer holiday football camps on the sports field in Geismar for children between the ages of six and 13 (born between 2015 and 2009). Training takes place from July 18th to 21st and from August 15th to 18th in a half-day camp from 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. Registrations are possible by email to [email protected].
There will also be an all-day camp in cooperation with VfL Wolfsburg from August 22nd to 24th from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The registration is here possible.
