RSC Anderlecht’s turnover exceeds 100 million euros – BX1

RSC Anderlecht saw its turnover pass the 100 million euro mark, the Brussels club announced Thursday evening, whose annual accounts for the 2022-2023 season were approved by the general assembly.

The turnover increased from 78,478,888.68 euros for the 2021-2022 season, which Anderlecht finished in 3rd place by reaching the final of the Belgian Cup, to 101,241,211.82 euros for the season. 2022-2023, which saw Sporting finish in a disappointing 11th place. The 2022-2023 season is mixed.

RSC Anderlecht reached the quarter-finals of the Conference League, but the poor start to the Jupiler Pro League season could not be erased. Although it missed the play-offs, the RSCA continued on the path traced in recent years to make the club structurally sound financially and arm it for the future. The results in the Conference League and the transfers of Sergio Gomez, sold for 13 million euros, and Julien Duranville, sold to Dortmund for some 10 million, explain this increase in turnover. “Commercial and operational income also increased, even if the club missed the end-of-season play-offs,” according to the club, which also parted ways with several large contracts, seeing its payroll decrease by 4% for reach 54,676,824.77 euros.

“With 2,956,969.52 euros (profits before interest and taxes), the club records an improvement of 89% compared to -27,355,103.59 euros for the 2021-2022 season,” indicates the RSCA. “The final net result of -6,114,201.50 euros is at first glance lower than that of the 2021-2022 season (1,273,891.40 euros), but this balance sheet was very influenced by the conditional restructuring of the debt by the main shareholder Alychlo during the 2021-2022 season”.
