RPL explained why Rostov was able to claim Bayramyan who passed a positive COVID-19 test

The Russian Premier League (RPL) explained why Rostov had the right to include midfielder Khoren Bayramyan in the application for the match of the 24th round of the Tinkoff RPL against Arsenal.

– Rostov footballer Khoren Bayramyan passed the first positive test on June 12. After that, the club informed the local Rospotrebnadzor, the player was isolated, and dynamic observation was organized for him. All this time, the condition of the football player was evaluated by doctors as satisfactory. Over the next 10 days from the date of detection of coronavirus infection, he passed several negative tests, the last of which a day before the game against Arsenal. Strictly in accordance with the requirements of Rospotrebnadzor after a 14-day quarantine, the player resumed training and was included in the application for the match against Arsenal, the RPL said in a statement.

Before the match, “Rostov” received permission from Rospotrebnadzor to play with “Arsenal” the main team. All football players who received somewhat negative results when testing for coronavirus were included in the application.

Recall that due to quarantine in the main team, Rostov was forced to put a youth team in the match of the 23rd round of the RPL against Sochi, which lost to the opponent with a score of 1:10.
