An unexpected giveaway appeared in the Steam digital store. PC users can now receive a nice gift from the Gotcha Gotcha Games studio in the form of a full version of the RPG Maker XP game engine. Within one week, you will be able to pick up the application absolutely free, allowing even beginners to create full-fledged role-playing games.
As noted by Gotcha Gotcha Games, the RPG Maker XP free giveaway will be available until February 19th. To add a game engine to your library, just go to the application page and click on the “Add to account” button. After activation, users will receive the full version of RPG Maker XP with all the engine’s capabilities, allowing you to write scenarios, structure and gameplay mechanics.
RPG Maker XP allows you to create an original role-playing game without any prior specialized knowledge or training. RPG Maker XP has all the features you need, including game data encryption and a scripting feature that allows you to change the very nature of the RPG Maker engine.
RPG Maker XP became free as part of the RPG Maker Festival 2024. Along with the distribution, the developers from Gotcha Gotcha Games also temporarily reduced the price of a more modern version of the engine – RPG Maker MZ. Until February 19, it will be available at a discount of up to 50%.
