Breast cancer is the leading cause of cancer death in women in Mexico. The Civil Hospital of Guadalajara carries out the Free Timely Detection Campaign 2024, with the aim of promoting greater awareness among the population about the importance of early detection and treatment of breast cancer, in order to contribute to improving the prognosis and the survival of the cases.
Presiden: Doctor Alberto Ballesteros Manzo, Head of the Gynecology and Obstetrics Division of the Old Civil Hospital of Guadalajara “Fray Antonio Alcalde”; Doctor Juan Carlos Vázquez Limón, Head of the Oncology Service of the Old Civil Hospital of Guadalajara “Fray Antonio Alcalde”; Doctor Eduardo Sotelo Anaya, In charge of the Adult Oncology Service of the New Civil Hospital of Guadalajara “Dr. Juan I. Menchaca”; Doctor Alejandro Acosta Aguilar, Head of the Gynecology Service of the New Civil Hospital of Guadalajara “Dr. Juan I. Menchaca” and Doctor Manuel Cortés Anguiano, Head of the Breast Clinic of the Old Civil Hospital of Guadalajara “Fray Antonio Alcalde”.
