KOMPAS.com – Ministry of Social Affairs ( Ministry of Social Affairs) return to channel aid to the community in the form of social assistance cash (BST) worth IDR 300,000 per month.
This Cash Social Assistance is a phase two distribution that runs until December 2020.
Previously, the Ministry of Social Affairs had distributed BST worth IDR 600,000 per month which was distributed from April to June 2020.
Minister of Social Affairs Juliari P Batubara said that this assistance was channeled to help people affected by Covid-19.
Ministry of Social Affairs spokesman Adhy Karyono said Rp. 300,000 was distributed to 9 million beneficiary families (KPM).
The nine million recipients of cash social assistance are not recipients of the Family Hope Program (PKH).
“BST recipients are non-PKH and Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT) recipients, the condition is that participants cannot accept PKH and BPNT,” said Adhy when contacted. Kompas.com, Saturday (7/11/2020).

“So, even though it is outside the DTKS, it is in accordance with the regional proposal that the person has been affected by Covid-19,” said Adhy.
Distribution through Himbara and Pos Indonesia
The distribution of aid worth IDR 300,000 will be channeled by transfer to the account of each recipient or through PT Pos Indonesia.
For participants who have an account, fund distribution will be transferred in collaboration with the State-Owned Bank Association (Himbara).
“For those who have BRI, BNI, Mandiri, and BTN accounts, they will be transferred through banks, but if the DTKS does not have an account, the assistance will be channeled using PT Pos,” said Adhy.
