Ricardo Gomez, the lawyer for the Portuguese coach, Roy Vitoria, confirmed that his client won his case in the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) against the Saudi club Al-Nasr, as the latter became obligated to pay an amount of 8 million euros in addition to delay fines for canceling the coach’s contract about two years ago.
The parties concerned have not yet received the final ruling, while the “Cass” court granted Roy Vitoria less than he was asking for from the Saudi club.
Vittoria took over Al-Nasr training in early 2019 in his first experience outside his country, and he was able to win the Saudi League that season, after which he led the yellow team to win the Saudi Super Cup at the expense of cooperation in early 2020.
Roy Vittoria was dismissed from his post in December 2020, and last season he trained Spartak Moscow and was dismissed in the same season, before he took over the Egyptian national team in July last year with a 4-year contract.
