Roy Suryo prepared civil action against Eko Kunthadi and Mazdjo Pray for alleged defamation and violation of the ITE Law. Eko Kunthadi actually mention the plan Roy Suryo this is a breakthrough.
“Want how again. Wong sued. It’s a breakthrough, the matter of social media is being sued by civil law,” said Eko Kunthadi to reporters, Saturday (5/6/2021).
Why did Eko Kunthadi call it a breakthrough? Because, according to Eko Kunthadi, Roy Suryo’s plan was the first time he had heard of it.
“It’s my first time listen. It could be suggested that the Muri record (Indonesian World-Record Museum) is possible,” said Eko.
Eko Kunthadi said that he inevitably had to face Roy Suryo’s planned civil lawsuit against him. Because, according to Eko Kunthadi, the law is coercive.
“If I say I don’t want to face it, the law is forced. So yes, like it or not. Face it, ha-ha-ha…” he added.
Roy Suryo previously assessed that mediation was unlikely after officially reporting Eko Kunthadi and Mazdjo Pray for alleged defamation and violation of the ITE Law. Roy Suryo is also preparing a civil suit.
“Actually, the attitude of the Metro Police has determined who the reported person is. Mediation is opened if for example the reported person is not definitively who he is so that the person in charge confesses or we are met and according to the National Police Chief’s Decree there is restorative justice we met in a mediation so we didn’t go straight to the law,” said Roy Suryo when contacted detik.com, Saturday (5/6).
