Two domestic digital content authors – a network marketing businessman Katrīne Sauliete and the singer Adriana Miglāne – have publicly expressed confusion as to how Latvia has been recognized as the most influential influencer Paradise Roger Linkevich. It turns out that they have an old hammer on the guy, which has been dealt with even with the involvement of law enforcement agencies.

This year’s “Golin Accelerators of Relevance in the Influenza Index” as the strongest influencer in Latvia recognized Roy Roger Linkevich, which has less than 100,000 followers on social networks. Roy has also increased his popularity in a much narrower circle with his podcast “Is it easy to be”, in which he and his colleague Kristiāns Grāmatiņa discussed current events on social networks, including not repeating his opinion about other digital content authors. It wasn’t always flattering.
Katrīne Sauliete and Adriana Miglāne, for example, have been reprimanded for their actions on the Internet last year.
After announcing the results of the latest influenza index, Sauliete wrote on the Internet: “A person in childhood is unrecognized, beaten and humiliated, perhaps because when he grows up, he turns the evil that was directed against him to others! It is unfortunate to imagine that people follow and influence him the evil he brings out, “says Sunset and points out that Roy Roger is humiliating people.
Miglāne writes: “You know, I’ve been silent for a very long time, it’s been almost a year, but I can’t understand one thing: a person who so brutally” puts “people, including me, in front of many people in his podcasts, is considered the most influential. influencers? For “putting” people? Seriously? “
Miglane does not specify what it is about, but thanks the State Police, the prosecutor’s office and also the bailiff for “help and accurate work”.
As Roy Roger explained to the Delphi portal, there is a tense relationship between him, Miglani and Saulieti, which has also been resolved with a total of four ladies’ applications to the police. “The first was from Sauliete that her followers dropped due to our podcast. She also objected to the use of several non-standard vocabulary (debut, fagot, etc.). We responded to the application and the police closed the case. Sauliete appealed, but closed it again.” remembers Linkevich. The application to the police was also from Adriana Miglāne, but the case is also closed. As far as he knows, there are no active lawsuits at the moment, the influencer explains.
He believes that what is said in the broadcasts should not be taken seriously. “It’s not for people who don’t understand this genre of humor and who like the word ‘stupid’ – they might find this humor shocking. Everyone has a choice of what content to consume,” Roger said.
The guy does not follow the accounts of Miglāne and Sauliete on social networks on a daily basis, but sometimes he takes something for the purpose of creating his podcast. “We just comment on their actions. If we consider them stupid, we say so. Everyone can listen, but it doesn’t have to be disturbed by the glorious language we use,” says the influential influencer.
The scandal – a win-win situation
Riga Stradins University doctoral student, influenza researcher Dennis Shevelov remembers the particular “Is it easy to be” show that caused the ladies outrage at the time. He has listened to it and does not believe that there have been any legal violations: “Yes, there was some rudeness. Of course, I also do not think it is right to make serious diagnoses. I do not support that, but unfortunately this is typical of our culture in the media, “Shevelov says of the unethical words in Roja ‘s podcast.
The expert believes that scandals can also be monetized very well. “According to my observations, the scandals usually take place only with Miglana, Sauliet, Didrihsoni and Armaneva. There are at least three cases each. I also noticed the regularity that the scandal is followed by advertising and a promo code. “Such content – scandals, worries about politics and social issues – attracts more audiences, becomes more viral. Why not use it? The only question is whether it is a coincidence or a deliberate action,” Shevelov said.
Roy Roger won the impact index
The organizers of the annual influenza top list are already in place explainedi measurement methodology, which shows that the number of followers (Roger, for example, has fewer followers on Instagram than Sauliete and Miglāne) is not decisive.
“The number of followers is just as important as the engagement and quality ratings provided by an independent jury. You may be followed by many, but if your content earns little heart and the material you post is of low value, your rating will be lower. Roy Roger has a large audience engaging content – his “engagement rate” is over 11%, which is a rarity, “explains Dennis Shevelov.
“Currently in Latvia”Instagram“The app is actively used by approximately 675,000 people. Just under 2,000 accounts have more than 1,000 followers. Of these, only 25% have more than 9,900 followers, 10% more than 19,000 followers, and only 1% have more than 69,000 followers. Roy Roger has more than 30 thousand followers, which is a lot in Latvia – and only 10% of influencers, “the researcher sums up.
