Roxette stars in Pori Jazz – Here’s a new soloist –

Roxette will return to concert stages next year, the last time Roxette performed in 2016. The tour starts in South Africa and Australia, Roxette will come to Europe in the summer.

Roxette will perform in Finland at Pori Jazz on July 17.

Per Gesslen and by Marie Fredriksson Roxette was one of the most popular bands in the world in the early 90s, and its hits The Look, Joyride, It Must Have Been Love and Listen to Your Heart are still ringing around the world.

Marie Fredriksson died in 2019 of cancer.

– Marie Fredriksson is irreplaceable. I’m lucky to have found Roxette’s singer with a wonderful voice by Lena Philipssonwho is also a great performer. I am happy that he is joining us and together we can continue Roxette’s music and legacy, says Gessle in the press release.

Philipsson is a popular Swedish artist with a long career. He represented Sweden in Eurovision in 2004 with a song It Hurts.
