The Roval Rapide CLX II wheels are designed for basically all situations. A great pair of wheels that have outstanding properties both in the mountains and on the flat. Now also tubeless compatible. Roval achieved this by combining the aerodynamics of the Roval CLX 64 and the weight of the Roval CLX 32 wheels. The Rapid CLX II consists of a 51mm high and 35mm wide front rim combined with a 60mm high and 30mm wide rear rim. The width and shape of the new Rapide rims mean that the stability in gusts increases by 25% compared to the old CLX50 wheels.
Increased stability gives more control over the bike and allows the rider to concentrate more on pedaling and ultimately ride both faster and more controlled. Roval was not satisfied with optimizing the rim pair. Even the new Aero Flange hubs consist of an aerodynamic shape and DT Swiss inner gauge with ceramic bearings and DT’s new EXP freewheel mechanism.
