Morocco’s victory over Canada (2-1) in the World Cup was celebrated with exuberance last night in major cities. Many hundreds of revelers took to the streets, with much booing and singing, but also heavy fireworks. In The Hague, Amsterdam and Rotterdam, the Mobile Unit (ME) was forced to act. More than ten people were arrested, one officer was injured. Justice Minister Dilan Yesilgöz hit the rioters hard again.
