The History Museum welcomes eminent historians and researchers for a meeting-debate as part of the commemorations of the 1943 roundups in Marseille: Tal Bruttmann, historian specializing in the Shoah, Alexandre Doulut, doctor of history and historian-researcher, and Robert Mencherini , historian, president of the PACA Online Resistance Museum, university professor of history
Beyond the commemorations of the roundups in the summer of 1942 and the roundups in Marseilles in January 1943, this meeting-debate aims to deepen knowledge of the persecution and deportation of Jews from France, present in the southern zone, and who will continue until the liberation of the territory in the summer of 1944.
