Rouhaniyet 2024: When Sufi music transcends borders

The Sufi and Mystical Music Festival of Nefta, Rouhaniyet, will be held from October 30 to November 2, 2024 in Nefta, in the governorate of Tozeur.

Placed under the sign of “Ichq” (passion), this 7th edition will offer performances by local and international Sufi and mystical music troupes, coming from various countries such as Tanzania, Syria, Morocco and Palestine. Tunisia will be represented by Mounir Troudi and Leila Hajaiej, as well as by the Hadhra of Sami Lajmi. Among the invited Arab artists, we find the Palestinian Dalal Abu Emnah, the Syrian Adnen Hallek, the Moroccan Rachid Ghannem, as well as Yahia Bihaki. Conferences, workshops, activities and craft fairs will also be on the program for this edition, which will include guided tours of the holy places, Zaouias, in the Chott el-Jerid region. Created in 2015, the Sufi and Mystical Music Festival of Nefta, Rouhaniyet, has become an unmissable annual event dedicated to sacred music and ancestral Sufi traditions.
