Rouen-Chartres, it’s heating up on the networks, history of penalties at FC Drouais, Trébel has finally played again … The echoes of football in Eure-et-Loir

FC Drouais avoided their first defeat of the year, in Regional 1, thanks to a saving penalty, in the 94th minute, from Malick Ndongo, Sunday, at the reserve of Blois (3-3). However, five minutes earlier, the formation of Gwenaël Maurice, 3rd in R1, had obtained a penalty but the striker Oumar Ballo had seen the Blois doorman take out his attempt during this match with twists where the FCD led twice to the score thanks to to Wassil Amouri and Hassan Bouzag.

Papin, passer with Saint-Malo

The former Chartrain Steven Papin (34) did not miss his debut in the Maloin jersey he found after wearing it during the 2008-2009 season. After spending seven months at Saint-Brieuc (11 matches in National for 2 goals), the striker, lacking playing time in the Côtes-d’Armor, offered a decisive pass, with a heel, for his teammate Vermet, author of the opener against leader Lorient. The victory of Saint-Malo (finally 2-0), which also changed coaches during the week – coach Fabien Pujo was replaced by his assistant Abdel El Kouraichi – allows the Remparts club to come back to within two points of the holding area.

Jean-Pierre Papin and Steven Papin (back) should meet on March 5 at the Jacques-Couvret stadium.

Versailles set for Sunday

Still in the running in the Coupe de France, the leader of National 2 Versailles, who will play his quarter-final tomorrow (6:30 p.m.) in Bergerac (N2), will not face Poissy on Saturday, day of the 18th day in group A of N2. The Yvelines derby has been moved to Sunday at 3 p.m.

Rouen-Chartres postponed… not the networks!

Postponed for five cases of Covid-19 within the Chartres workforce, the match of N2 Rouen (11th) – C’Chartres Football (6th), which was to take place on Friday, animated the web. Norman and Chartrains supporters had a great time on social networks: “Match lost on green carpet”; Sidibé was not ready”, in reference to the CCF striker who left Rouen last summer; “Chartres is a small club” and Eurelian response “Look at its ranking compared to Rouen”. The fact that Chartres also deplores the injured (Palbrois, Colas, Chantome, Traoré…) did not calm the pseudo fans of FCR 1899, adding “As in Cameroon, doctored PCR tests”. The return match (1-2 defeat in the first leg of the CCF) in Seine-Maritime already promises…

Rouen – Chartres postponed for Covid-19

Trébel, first steps in Helvetia

Nine months after his last match with Anderlecht (Belgian D1), the Drouais Adrien Trébel, 30, has finally found his way back to competition. On loan for six months in Lausanne, the midfielder will try to save the Swiss club from relegation. For his Super League debut on Saturday, Trébel played 90 minutes but could not prevent the “Bleu et blanc” led by former Toulouse player Alain Casanova from losing on the lawn of Servette Genève (1-0).
