Rotterdam: Music from Germany not in demand: penultimate at the Eurovision Song Contest – zero points from the audience!

(rl) Another bankruptcy for a contribution from Germany to the ESC! “Jendrik” (“I don’t feel hate”) won neither the jury (three points!) Nor the audience (zero points!) With his stage show in Rotterdam, which was also conceived by international “experts”.
Nevertheless, the big praise from the German commentator and then from the presenter Barbara “Schönredner”, who rated the performance consistently positively.
Once again it was shown that the “creativity” of a team selected by those responsible for Germany often only meets their own high standards – but totally ignores the taste of the audience.
Italy’s contribution won. The bare upper body of the rock band convinced the audience more than the quality rating of the jury, which initially saw Switzerland ahead of France.

Refreshing that the show in Holland was able to take place in front of a tested audience and that the applause for the participants was enthusiastically conveyed.
Quite in contrast to the German TV scene, where for more than a year enthusiastic applause has been heard on many shows without an audience, which is played from the “canned food” without informing the TV viewer.
